TYPE OF WINE: Risano White.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon and autochthonous varieties of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
ZONE OF PRODUCTION: Hills and plains.
SOIL: Marly and alluvial.
TRAINING SYSTEM: Guyot with 4,000 vines per hectare.
YIELD PER HECTARE: 90 quintals of grapes per hectare.
HARVEST: Grapes harvested by hand during the period of optimal ripeness, on 5 September.
VINIFICATION: Grape conditioning at +10° C with brief maceration in the bladder press and subsequently soft crushing.
MUST TO FRUIT RATIO: 65%
FERMENTATION: In temperature controlled stainless steel containers for 20 days at a controlled temperature of +14° to +20° C.
AGEING: Stored in the cellar in stainless steel vats at a constant temperature of +12° C, stabilised in refrigeration rooms until bottling.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13% by vol.
RESIDUAL SUGAR: 5.00 g/l.
TOTAL ACIDITY: 5.80 g/l in tartaric acid.
COLOUR: Straw yellow with clear green hues.
AROMA: Fresh flowers and fruit.
TASTE: Fresh, fruity, mineral, slightly citrusy with a light tanginess that makes it particularly captivating.
PAIRING: Excellent as an aperitif, ideal with dishes typically served in the summer revolving around fish, white meats and fresh vegetables.
SERVE: Should be enjoyed particularly chilled at the temperature of +11° C. Uncork just before serving.
CONSUMPTION AND AGEING POTENTIAL: Wine to be enjoyed preferably young (within two years), to fully appreciate its fragrant freshness.
